Come and join our team based on our clients site in Glastonbury, BA6 9QU as a Warehouse Operative/Food Production Operative. Our client is a leading 100% plant-based health and fitness supplier. One year experience in food production required.
*Immediate work starting asap, temporary contract*
Shift and Pay Information for Warehouse Operative
- 2 weeks 06:00 – 14:00 followed by 2 weeks of 14:00-22:00
- Monday-Friday – working one Saturday per month.
- £10.42 per hour
- 40 hours per week
What you’ll be doing as a Warehouse Operative in Glastonbury, BA6 9QU:
- Completing the end to end process of Food Production this includes raw material stock arrives, workers then weigh them, pack them and load into racking.
- Can be lifting up to 25kg
- Achieve the weekly production plans set by the Supply Chain department
- Adhere to BRC and Food Safety Standards throughout production
- Asset care of production machinery on site Warehouse duties
- Reduce wasted effort and downtime where possible
- Maintaining Clean As You Go standards across the Glastonbury site
- Please note this is a no nuts environment.
About you:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic as a food production operative, an innovative and passionate individual. With attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial.
