Higher Level Teaching Assistant


 

We are looking for an inclusive, enthusiastic and positive Higher Level Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a wide team within a valued Primary School within Manchester.

This is a temporary contract within the School.

About the role

This role is a temporary term - time only role, 8:30 - 3:30pm in a local school within Manchester. You will be supporting the classroom teacher with top quality assistance, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support. You will be working one to one or with groups of students in the class who may need the additional support.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Help create a comfortable and supported learning environment for the class to be able to excel their learning.
  • Be open, communicative and adapt your teaching styles to meet the students needs.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • You must hold a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
