We are looking for an inspiring and confident Room Leader at our lovely nursery in Lowdham who is:
· qualified to Level 3 in Early Years childcare
· innovative about how we provide care to all children at our nursery
· a calm, capable and a confident decision maker, able to get the best out of your team whilst working to the highest standards and whilst ensuring our children have a great experience with us
· passionate about working in childcare, confident both in knowledge of Ofsted’s requirements and the EYFS
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
· leading a professional room at all times
· achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education
· leading and supervising the team within your room in planning and performance
· ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
· ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
· planning, preparing and reviewing the curriculum with your team
· working in partnership with the parents and providing excellent customer service
· ensuring confidentiality at all times
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
