Rate Of Pay: £10.42 Per Hour
Shift Patterns: 40hrs Per Week Guaranteed, Permanent Contract.
Information about the Role:
Working as Cleaner at Marston Court your duties will include the following:
- General cleaning in communal areas as well as the people we support bedrooms, removing waste appropriately and replenishing supplies where necessary.
- Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH, comply with any infection control procedures and all health and safety regulations.
- To report to the line manager faults, equipment malfunctions and/or issues hindering the usual cleaning routines, following appropriate procedures for reporting equipment checking & failure.
- To follow the appropriate procedure for re-ordering cleaning supplies and equipment
Information about the Service:
Marston Court is a 22 bed service. Marston Court has two large lounge and dining areas which enables people to socialise at meal times. Recent renovation work on the home now enables people living in the annex to access Marston directly to the upper floor and a lift gives them access to the ground floor of Marston. The two gardens are of good size and people participate in the warmer months to plant seeds and flowers. Both gardens have canopy swings for people to relax and enjoy the views. Marston Court is close by to various local shops and there is a bus stop directly outside the home that will take people and staff supporting them to Leicester’s city centre. Watermead Park is nearby where individuals can access and feed the ducks and take a stroll round the park.
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Domestic Cleaner:
- Ideally Minimum of 6 months Cleaner / Domestic experience.
- Good understanding of Health & safety regulations
- Worked to COSHH complying with infection control procedures
